Fred R. Jones was born in Logansport, Indiana on May I, 1942. Fred attended Flora High School and graduated in 1960. He graduated from Indiana University with a bachelors of science degree in 1964 and from Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis with a juris doctorate degree in 1970. Fred was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1970 and began his legal career in Plymouth, Indiana with the Law Office of Clifford A. Goodrich practicing general law and joined the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office in 1973. The Law Office of Clifford A. Goodrich would become the Law Office of Goodrich & Jones in 1973 when Fred became a partner with Mr. Goodrich. Over the years the Law Office of Goodrich & Jones has evolved and is now the law office of Jones Huff Jones & Richeson, LLP. Fred continued a general private practice while with the Prosecutor’s Office and was elected Marshall County Prosecutor in 1982, 1986 and 1990. Since leaving the Prosecutor’s Office in 1994, Fred has continued his private practice.
Fred has had many opportunities in his 40 plus years of practice to engage in a wide range of areas of law. This experience gives him the ability to represent clients with a wide variety of legal concerns.
